Scott A. Johnson is a graduate of San Diego State University (with high honors and distinction in his major, Psychology) and University of San Diego School of Law (J.D. May 1981, graduating cum laude with American Jurisprudence Awards for achievement in the study of Corporations and the Uniform Commercial Code). He was admitted to the California Bar in December 1981, State Bar No. 099024. Mr. Johnson spent the first two years of his legal career as a law clerk to Presiding Justice Gerald Brown of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District. He has significant experience in cases involving complex litigation, primarily in business and insurance coverage actions, and has represented some of California’s largest agricultural and industrial employers in labor relations matters.
Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, in addition to the Third Circuit and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.
